Greater Beckley Christian 54, Valley 28
Greater Beckley Christian exploded for 47 first half points and cruised past Valley 54-28 Thursday.
Keegan Davidson led the Crusaders with 17 points making seven of his 12 shot attempts. Davidson also had six steals and four assists in the win.
Gabe Short had a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Eli Sexton added 12 points and had five steals.
Degan Williams pulled down nine rebounds and Kyle McMellon grabbed seven rebounds for the Crusaders.
Mercer Christian 47, Pipestem Christian 28
Pipestem – Adam Jones scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Mercer Christian past Pipestem Christian 47-28 Thursday.
Eli Patton added 10 points for the Cavaliers, while Elias Sharp and Dylan Jones each scored six points. Sharp also had seven rebounds and Dylan Jones had seven steals.
Isaiah Dove led the Panthers with 16 points including four 3-pointers on the night and Brady Stephenson scored seven.

Broc Johnson scored 20 points, while Brock Green and Iziah Gordon added 10 points apiece to lead undefeated Independence (5-0) past Pineville Thursday.
Carter Hajash scored eight points for the Patriots and Michael Hess had seven.
Konner Fox led the Minutemen with 12 points. Ashton Blankenship scored eight and Dylan Golden scored seven.
Independence’s JV also won 45-9 with Paxton Myers scoring 16 to lead the way.
Independence hosts Shady Spring Monday.
