Middle School Roundup: Peterstown, Greater Beckley Summit, Eastern Greenbrier and Fayetteville girls win; Shady Spring, Trap Hill, Valley and Independence boys victorious

Girls

Peterstown 44, Western Greenbrier 25

Crawley – Peterstown broke a tied game at the half open, toppling Western Greenbrier 44-25

Lydia Dunlap led Peterstown with 13 points while Natalya Tabor netted eight.

Summer Berry led Western Greenbrier with seven points.

Greater Beckley 48, PikeView 14

Hollee Harper scored 14 points as Greater Beckley netted a 48-14 win over PikeView.

Brynlee Coleman added 11 in the win.

Summit Christian 62, Victory 26

Summit Christian netted a 62-26 win over Victory Baptist Monday.

Matt Jordan netted 19 points and 13 rebounds while Dylan Jones added 11.

Eastern Greenbrier 34, Shady Spring 23

White Sulphur Springs – Eastern Greenbrier defeated Shady Spring 34-23 Monday night in a game played inside Colonial Hall at The Greenbrier.

Natalee S. led Eastern Greenbrier with 15 points and Kendal Wickline scored 15 for Shady Spring.

Fayetteville 39, Valley 11

Smithers – Eden Skaggs scored a game-high 11 points to lead Fayetteville past Valley 39-11 Monday night.

Lilly Hrabosky added seven and Kynlee Wriston scored six. Kinslee Hindebrand and Olivia Trofy had four points each and Ava Wood netted three. Aubrey Newsome and Kimmie Lewis had two points apiece.

Izabella Harville had three points for Valley, while Hayley Parsons, Jocelynn Harris, Addyson Ramsey and Charlee Keller had two points each.

 

Boys
Shady Spring 34,  Eastern Greenbrier 27

White Sulphur Springs – Jace Lilly scored 11 points and Jace Bailey added 10 to lead Shady Spring past Eastern Greenbrier 34-27 Monday in a game played inside Colonial Hall at The Greenbrier.

Boothe led Eastern Greenbrier with 11 points.

Trap Hill 35, Park 34
Trap Hill ran its win streak to four straight games with a 35-34 win over county rival Park.
The Wildcats were led by Cole Gosnell with a game-high 17 points and Mason Toler with 11 points.
Kenney Williams had nine and Micah Hamby scored eight points to lead the Roadrunners

Independence 69, Princeton 45

The Patriots moved their record to 13-1 with a 69-45 win over Princeton Monday evening.
Iziah Gordon led all scorers with 22 for Independence, followed closely by K.J. Viars with 19 points.
Konnor James tossed in 11 points and Byron Lambert added six. Tristan Lykins had four, while Tripp Lilly scored three. Isaac Wood and Braylon Brooks added two points each.
Colson Parks and Jahmare Flack paced the Tigers with 12 points each. Josiah Tunstall scored 10, Cage McMillion eight, Isaiah Whitt two and Jahymar Loffer one.
Valley 45, Fayetteville 40
Smithers – Von Brockman poured in 27 points Monday night to lead Valley past Fayetteville 45-40.
Dashaun Brockman added nine points, while Craven Austin had five and K.K. Wright scored four.
Tucker Bragg led the Pirates with 13 points and Raylen Stonestreet added 10 points. Jaxson Shockey scored six with Thorpe Fussell and Isaiah Champman netting four each. Paxton Hopkins scored three.
