Shady Spring scored eight unanswered runs after falling behind 4-1 to topple Trap Hill 9-4 Tuesday.
Grant Lawson and Drew Gallaher had a pair of RBI, while Jacob Claypool blasted a solo home run and Noah Fox had a triple for the Tigers.
Dallas Hodges had two RBI for Trap Hill and Ian Jenkins roped a double. James Acord and Chase Shea also had an RBI.
Midland Trail 18, Summers County 1 (3 innings)
Hico – Midland Trail exploded for 11 runs in the first inning and cruised past Summers County 18-1 in a three-inning game.
Stephanie Harrell hit a double and had three RBI, while Brooke Ewing had a two singles and also drove in the three runs to pace the Patriots.
Raygen Parsons added two hits and scored three times. Madison Rader allowed just one hit in the circle and also scored three times.
