Midland Trail 15, Oak Hill 0
Hico – Madison Rader fanned nine batters in three innings as Midland Trail Middle dispatched Oak Hill Middle 15-0 Thursday in the Fayette County tournament.
Nevaeh Hall led Trail with two hits in the win.
Trail advances to Friday’s championship game where it will play Fayetteville at Oak Hill at 7:30.
Wyoming East Middle 11, Oceana Middle 3
New Richmond – Emma Simpson, Abigail Baker and Haley Adkins all had two hits each as Wyoming East Middle defended its county championship with an 11-3 victory over Oceana Thursday in New Richmond.
Leading 2-2 in the third, the Lady Warriors exploded for four runs in the bottom of the frame, adding to their lead with scores in each of the next two frames.
Adkins and Paytin Brehm led East with two RBIs each with the latter picking up the win in the circle.
East finishes the season 16-0.

Emma Simpson, Paytin Brehm and Katie Shrewberry (Wyoming East), Shea Bailey, Alyson Plumley and Karsyn Paynter (Oceana) and Delinda Kennedy, Sarah Cook and Paisley Shannon were named all-tournament.
