HICO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Midland Trail Patriots continued their dominant start to the season Friday night, shutting out the Braxton County Eagles 35-0 at home.
The Patriots’ defense stifled the Eagles throughout the contest, while the offense delivered consistent scoring to secure the team’s third straight win. It marks Midland Trail’s second consecutive shutout performance, underscoring their strong all-around play early in the season.

With the victory, Midland Trail improves to 3-0 and will travel to Chapmanville next Friday to face the Tigers. Braxton County falls to 1-2 and will return home to host Ritchie County.
