UNION, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Monroe County Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacant seat in the Western District following the departure of Sabrina Stutts.
The selected individual will serve until June 30, 2026.

Residents of the Western District who are interested in the position must submit a letter of interest by 3:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025.
Letters can be mailed to Board President Candace Sabol, Monroe County Schools, PO Box 330, Union, WV 24983, or sent via email to candace.sabol@k12.wv.us.
Eligibility requirements for county board members are outlined in West Virginia Code 18-5-1a.
