MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Montgomery Christmas Parade has been announced and is scheduled for next week.
The Montgomery Fire Department has released an announcement indicating that the annual holiday event is expected to take place on Friday, December 6, 2024.
While the parade itself is expected to get underway at 7:00pm the day of the event, the parade will be preceded by the fire apparatus competition, the judging for which will occur from 6:00pm to 6:45pm prior to the onset of the parade.
Participants in the fire apparatus competition will be judged in four categories including: Best Custom Engine, Best of Show, Best Commercial Engine, and Best Rescue Apparatus.
“We hope to see a lot of apartments attend,” said the Montgomery Fire Department in an announcement. “If your department is interested in participating please message!”
