WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Multiple areas throughout the Wyoming County region are without power on Thursday morning according to local emergency responders.
Residents from the Sun Hill area to Lynco – near Westside High School – are reportedly without power, according to a recent update from members of the Oceana Fire Department.
The outage is believed to have been the result of an incident in the unincorporated Lillydale area of Wyoming County in which a sizeable tree has reportedly fallen and made contact with active power lines.
Responders are currently assessing the situation and working to determine a timeframe for potential restoration of electrical service to those impacted by the happening.
