PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Multiple Mercer County offices will remain closed on Monday due to the impact of recent storms throughout the area.
An announcement from Mercer County Commission President, Bill Archer on Sunday indicates that the impacted offices in question have been navigating power outages as well as lack of phone an internet in the wake of weather conditions brought about by Hurricane Helene.
As such, nearly a dozen county offices have will be closed to the public on Monday, September 30, 2024, and are anticipated to reopen on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The impacted county offices include the Mercer County Courthouse, Mercer County Annex, Dilapidated Structures Office, Day Report Center, Litter Control Program, Animal Shelter, Memorial Building, Gardener Center, and Glenwood Park.
