MILTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Police say they are investigating a t-bone accident that sent multiple people to the hospital.
According to the Milton Police Department, on Wednesday, April 3, at about 3 PM they responded to a t-bone-style crash at what police say is increasingly becoming a dangerous intersection at US 60 and Newman’s Branch Road.
A car with 3 occupants pulled out of Newman’s Branch in front of a westbound Jeep and was struck broadside.
The car then continued across the eastbound lanes and through a fence at Milton Pre-K, across the playground, and into the school building.
All four occupants of the vehicles were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The incident is under investigation by Sgt. Dallas Scarberry.
“Thanks to the Milton VFD, the Putnam County EMS and the Cabell County EMS. Special thanks to God that this didn’t happen an hour earlier when children were on the grounds and parents were making pick ups,” the Milton Police Department stated in a Facebook post.
