ORIGINAL STORY: Nearly 1,000 customers are without power in Fayette County as of Wednesday morning.
According to Appalachian Power, approximately 920 customers are without power in the Mount Hope and Price Hill area of the county.

The outage occurred at 9:15 AM this morning and power is expected to be restored by this afternoon at 4:30 PM.
Crews are currently assessing the cause of the outage.
