MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS)– Renegades Outfitters and ATV, located in Welch, WV, recently had their grand opening on Friday, June 11, 2021.
Owner Sandy Blankenship was ecstatic at the turnout and support from the local community. Blankenship took over and redid the Historic Dorr Building. She says that the limited ATV stores in McDowell County were the driving inspiration in creating this business.
“The problem was customers went to Beckley, Princeton, and Bluefield for everything. Now, customers come in and are happy my business came to McDowell County,” said Blankenship.
Renegade Outfitters boasts more than ATVs. Renegade offers retail, accessories, parts, towing and recovery, a full-time mechanic, and sound systems for ATVs and UTVs.Â
To get the word out about her business. She gave her Facebook community the chance to spread the word about Renegade with a $50 gift-card giveaway. Participants entered by sharing their Facebook posts. As of today, her Facebook posts gathered about 140 shares. Blankenship announced that she would hold another giveaway in about a month for both businesses.Â
Blankenship additionally owns Eva’s House Bed and Breakfast which also offers ATV lodging in Gary, WV. She encourages customers to keep riding so that Renegade and Eva’s House can continue to provide their services.
“If they don’t ride, we don’t make a dime,” said Blankenship.
