OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new attraction dedicated to the legend of Bigfoot is opening its doors in Oak Hill this weekend.
The Education Earth Bigfoot Museum & Research Center is celebrating its grand opening Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12, at 44 Patrick Street in Oak Hill.
Organizers say the museum is designed to combine Bigfoot folklore with research and educational exhibits, giving visitors an opportunity to explore evidence, meet researchers and learn more about the mystery surrounding the legendary creature.
The grand opening begins at 10 a.m. each day. During opening weekend, admission includes a free membership valid through Dec. 31, 2026, according to promotional materials.
The museum will feature exhibits focused on Bigfoot research and reported sightings while offering an interactive experience centered on one of North America’s most enduring legends.
Military members and first responders will receive free admission year-round, organizers said.
The Education Earth Bigfoot Museum & Research Center is located at 44 Patrick St. in Oak Hill.
