BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Members of the Raleigh County Commission convened on Tuesday for the Regular Session meeting of the Commission at which a motion for the approval of a new Raleigh County Day Report Center employee was passed.
Jessica Carpenter will be taking on the role of Group Facilitator at the Raleigh County Day Report Center, filling a vacancy in a position for which the county had been advertising an interviewing in an attempt to fill.
Speaking on behalf of the center during Tuesday’s meeting, Mr. Miller noted that Carpenter had completed all necessary pre-employment tests, and that the budget contained the necessary funding to take on a new employee.
Though a number of interviews for the position were confirmed to have been initiated, Carpenter in particular was said to have, “blown everyone else out of the water” with regard to what the county was seeking in a potential employee for the slot.
