Gates open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The three-day event will feature vendors, seminars, demonstrations, and family-friendly activities, all centered around sustainable living and Appalachian traditions.
Proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nonprofit supporting wounded veterans, first responders, and their families.
Organizers say the expo will offer something for everyone, with topics ranging from hunting, fishing, and gardening to survival skills, farm-to-table products, off grid camping, beekeeping, and homestead livestock.
Celebrity guest speakers include Joel Salatin, often called “America’s most famous farmer,” appearing Saturday only; EJ Snyder from the television show Naked & Afraid, appearing all weekend; and Isaiah Tuck from Alone Survivor, appearing Friday.
Educational seminars will cover subjects such as medicinal plants and tinctures, predator control, off grid emergency medicine, sustainable farming, food freedom, and both modern and primitive survival techniques.
In addition to dozens of vendors, the expo will feature food trucks, living history demonstrations, children’s activities including inflatable play areas, live farm animals, off grid RVs, and door prizes.
Advance tickets are available online at www.wvoffgridexpo.com.
Prices are $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 17. Admission at the gate will be $15 for adults and $7 for children. Kids ages 3 and under are admitted free.
The event is hosted by Forest Manna Outdoors LLC, a member of the West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals, in partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
