BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – New River Community and Technical College is now enrolling for its Summer Workforce Non-Credit Training Programs, offering short-term, hands-on courses designed to prepare individuals for in-demand careers.
Programs include welding, HVAC, heavy equipment operation, commercial driving (CDL), and automotive training. Courses range from 1.5 to 12 weeks and provide practical experience aligned with industry standards, with select programs offering certification opportunities.
Training begins as early as May and runs through August, with flexible scheduling and daytime class options. Highlights include welding and HVAC courses, a comprehensive heavy equipment operations program, CDL training, and a mobile HVAC course that includes EPA 609 Certification.
