PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – New River Community and Technical College is encouraging students to enroll in its upcoming Automotive Service Technology: Hydraulic Brakes, Steering and Suspension course, which begins Monday, August 25, at Mercer County Technical Education Center.
The six-week evening program will run Monday through Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and provide hands-on training in suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems.

Students will also learn four-wheel alignment techniques and gain experience diagnosing and repairing anti-lock brake systems. Tuition for the course is $2,448.
The class is offered through New River CTC’s partnership with Mercer County Technical Education Center to expand workforce training opportunities in southern West Virginia.
A second course, Automotive Service Technology: Electrical Foundations, will be offered October 6 through November 20. Students who take both courses will receive a discounted tuition rate of $3,736.
