MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new dining and social spot officially opened its doors in Raleigh County on Tuesday as New River Pub & Grill held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location along Robert C. Byrd Drive.
The pub and grill is located at 6643 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Mount Hope, WV 25880, and offers a casual menu featuring familiar pub favorites.

According to the restaurant, offerings include appetizers such as fried pickles, jalapeño poppers, pierogies, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and chips with salsa.
Sandwich options include cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fried bologna sandwiches, and a variety of hot dogs, including a chili-and-cheese “Sasquatch Dog.”
New River Pub & Grill will be open seven days a week. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Monday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
In addition to food and beverages, the establishment plans to host regular entertainment. The first “Feuding” game night is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, beginning at 7 p.m.
The event is free to play and is open to the public. Organizers describe it as a team-based, survey-style game with a host, buzzers, music, and sound effects, encouraging participants to gather a group, enjoy a meal, and take part in the competition.
