WILLIAMSPORT, PA (LOOTPRESS) – New Trail Brewing Co., a Pennsylvania-based brewery known for its love of the outdoors and commitment to conservation and community, today announced a new initiative to support West Virginia’s public lands. A portion of the proceeds from all sales of their popular Trail Marker West Coast IPA in West Virginia will be donated directly to the West Virginia State Parks Foundation. Notably, Trail Marker will be on tap at the West Virginia State Park restaurants.
The partnership aims to raise awareness and funds for the preservation and enhancement of West Virginia’s 36 state parks, nine state forests, and three rail trails. The West Virginia State Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting these public lands through fundraising and advocacy.
“We are passionate about celebrating and protecting the natural beauty of the regions where our beer is sold, ” said Dave Hertwig – Co-Founder of New Trail Brewing Co.
“West Virginia’s state parks are a cherished resource for residents and visitors alike, and we are proud to partner with the West Virginia State Parks Foundation to support their mission for generations to come.
”New Trail’s Trail Marker West Coast IPA is a clear, hoppy brew with notes of orange zest and pine, crafted to evoke the feeling of stepping out onto a scenic trail. The beer’s name and style are a natural fit for this collaboration, which aligns with New Trail’s broader commitment to environmental stewardship.
“This generous support from New Trail Brewing Co. will make a real difference in our efforts to maintain and enhance our parks and forests, from trail maintenance to improvements on your favorite park feature. It’s a fantastic way for beer lovers to enjoy a quality brew while contributing to the beautiful landscapes they love. ” said Bradley Reed – Executive Director of the West Virginia State Parks Foundation.
The donation will apply to all sales of Trail Marker West Coast IPA in West Virginia. New Trail Brewing Co. has a history of similar philanthropic efforts, including partnerships with the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation to support reforestation and other conservation projects. New Trail has found and supported the analogous nonprofit in each state they have expanded beer sales to.
