PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Wyoming County Prosecutor Micheal M. Cochrane will be sworn in as a circuit judge in the Twenty-Seventh Judicial Circuit (Wyoming County) during a ceremony at noon on Friday, August 20.
The ceremony will be in the lobby of the Wyoming County Courthouse in Pineville. The event is open to the media and the public.
Senior Status Circuit Judge James Rowe will deliver the oath of office. Judge Rowe has been temporarily assigned to hear cases in Wyoming County since the June 21 retirement of Judge Warren R. McGraw.
Mr. Cochrane is a graduate of Marshall University and the Mississippi College School of Law and has been a practicing attorney since 2000. He was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1985 to 1989. He lives in Pineville.
