RICHWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Summersville man faces first-degree murder charges after he shot and killed another man.
According to a criminal complaint, on November 10, 2021, police found Louden Jacob Ellison deceased from a gunshot wound to his neck area. A juvenile witness says that the suspect, Trevor Chriscoe, and the victim began arguing, and a fight broke out. The witness says Chriscoe shot Ellison and then left the scene.
When police found Chriscoe and questioned him, Chriscoe admitted to shooting the victim with his gun due to the victim choking him. Police found no evidence that Chriscoe had been choked.
Chriscoe is charged with first-degree murder.
