NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Nicholas County man is in jail after trying to seduce a minor for sex.
According to a criminal complaint, Adam Simms used Facebook Messenger to communicate with who he thought was a juvenile female. During the conversation, Simms asked the juvenile to engage in sexual intercourse. Simms and the juvenile set a meeting place at the old Family Dollar store in Mount Lookout.
Once Simms arrived, the officer arrested him. Simms told the officer that he was communicating with whom he thought was an underage female and planned on having sexual intercourse with her if it led to that.
Simms is charged with soliciting a minor.
