OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Oak Hill is now accepting applications for its annual Hometown Hero Banner program, honoring local veterans and active-duty service members.
Applications will be accepted from February 1, 2025, through March 31, 2025.
The banners, which cost $125 each, will be displayed throughout the city from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
While there are no reserved locations for placement, the city will provide the necessary brackets for hanging.
Residents can apply online at https://oakhillwv.gov/community/page/hometown-heros or visit City Hall to obtain an application.
Each submission must include a high-quality photo, as smaller images may not enlarge clearly.
Completed applications, along with the photo and payment, must be submitted by March 31, 2025.
