OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man faces charges after he made threats to kill a woman and stole multiple items.
According to Oak Hill Police, on June 7, 2021, a call about a threats complaint was received on Johnson Street in Oak Hill. When the officer arrived, the victim said she had agreed to let Charles Vanover live with her around the start of September 2020. The victim stated that Mr. Vanover had recently made threats to kill her and another woman, and that’s when she told him he needed to find a new place to live.
Vanover also allegedly stole multiple items from the home with a value of more than 1,000 dollars.
Vanover is charged with domestic assault, destruction of property, and grand larceny. He is currently being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 7,500 dollar bond.
