OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Chief Deputy Shannon Morris provides the following information regarding this incident.
Just after noon today February 7, 2024, while on routine patrol in the Scarbro area of Fayette County, deputies performed a traffic stop on a motorcycle for a traffic violation. As deputies were exiting their vehicles to approach the motorcycle, the operator fled on his motorcycle. The operator was apprehended after a short pursuit.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the operator did not have a valid license, nor was the vehicle properly registered or insured.
Edward H. Anderson III, 50 of Oak Hill, is charged with the felony offenses of Fleeing In A Vehicle with Reckless Indifference and 3rd Offense of Driving While their License was Revoked for DUI.
