OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man has been charged after staying in a building he didn’t own, causing significant smoke damage.
According to Oceana Police, Adam Evans was staying in someone’s building and didn’t have permission. The owner had told Evans several times to stop staying inside of it. Evans allegedly started a barrel fire within the building, which caused severe smoke damage throughout it.
The cost of the damage to the building was around 2,000 dollars.
Evans has been charged with destruction of property and entering without breaking. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
