OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman was taken into custody earlier this month after police say she tried to punch a man during a public argument in the middle of Route 10.
According to a police report, an officer on patrol spotted a man and woman arguing near the Speedway in Oceana. The officer said he witnessed the woman, identified as Natashia Alexandera Norman, attempt to hit the man in the face.
When approached, Norman allegedly told the officer she was “trying to knock him out.” She was immediately placed under arrest and transported to the Oceana Police Department for processing.
The man involved declined to pursue charges, according to the report.
