MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Four members of the West Virginia State Police were involved in an officer-involved shooting early Friday near the Green Frog Bar, according to information released by the agency.
State Police said the incident occurred on May 1, 2026, at about 1 a.m.
All four troopers involved have been placed on critical incident leave while the investigation proceeds, which is standard procedure.
Authorities said no additional details are being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
