BLUEFIELD, VA (LOOTPRESS) – Organizers have announced that country-folk singer Oliver Anthony will headline a special concert at Bowen Field on Saturday, Aug. 29, capping off this year’s Lemonade Day festivities.
The concert was announced Friday as part of the community’s annual Lemonade Day celebration. Doors at Bowen Field, located at 3000 Bluefield College Drive, open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Anthony will be joined by special guest The Joey Davis Band.
The concert is open to all ages, and everyone attending must have a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase online.
Earlier in the day, Lemonade Day festivities will take place from noon to 5:30 p.m. and will feature free lemonade, train rides, splash pad activities, games, trolley rides hosted by Wayne Pelts, and live entertainment by The Untrained Professionals and Pieces of One.
Organizers say the concert will serve as the grand finale to the family-friendly event, bringing a nationally known performer to the Bluefield area for an evening of live music.
