LESTER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The victim of an apparent gunshot wound on Tuesday has passed away according to authorities.
Sheriff Canaday of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday, April 30th, at approximately 7:00AM, Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at a residence on Beaver Pond Road in the Lester / Fairdale area of Raleigh County with regard to a shooting incident.
Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the Deputies discovered a victim who had sufferer an apparent gunshot wound that had proven to be fatal.
“The circumstances of this incident are still under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time,” read a statement from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
