SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Over 1,400 MonPower customers are without power in Summers County.
According to MonPower, 1,437 customers are without power in the Jumping Branch, Nimitz, and Bellepoint areas of the county.

The cause of the outage is pending investigation and a crew is preparing for assessment.
Estimated restoration is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 1:30 AM.
The City of Hinton urges residents to stay safe and warm and that if they have an emergency, call 911.
