ORIGINAL STORY: Over 2,000 are without power in Raleigh County as of Saturday night.
According to Appalachian Power, 2,068 of its customers in the area of Beckley, Sweeneysburg, and Dry Hill Road are currently without power.
Appalachian Power lists the outage as weather-related.
Power has been flickering on and off for customers in this area throughout the day on Saturday.
Appalachian Power says the outage is estimated to be restored by tomorrow, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3 AM.
