PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Many Wyoming County residents have been eagerly anticipating the opening of Palisade’s Pineville Pool, which has been confirmed to be taking place in the near future.
Pineville Mayor, Aaron Hatfield, who has been actively involved in the process of reopening the attraction along with members of Pineville Town Council, reached out to confirm the planned opening of the pool after ten years of it having been closed.
Indication of the planned opening was first given in May, with additional details having been revealed last month with regard to pricing and hours.
While an exact opening date has yet to be provided, it has been confirmed that general hours for the pool will be 11:00am to 5:00pm Monday-through-Saturday and 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays, weather permitting.
Entry rates will be $5 for guests ages six and up, $3 for guests ages 2-5 and 55 and up, and free for guests ages 2 and under. Pool passes will also be available for purchase at $75 for individuals and $200 for a family of up to four with a $30 charge applying to each additional member.
These prices reportedly have been reduced due to the attraction not having been open and accessible throughout the summer up to this point.
The Town of Pineville indicated days ago that the pool has been filled with water in preparation for guests for the 2024 summer season. At the time of writing the pool is projected to open this weekend, potentially as early as Friday.
