PAX, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Town of Pax is providing cleanup supplies to residents affected by recent flooding and is asking for donations to help support recovery efforts.
Flood cleanup supplies will be distributed at Pax Town Hall beginning Aug. 17 and continuing while donated supplies remain available.
Residents in need of supplies, or those who know someone who needs assistance, may visit Town Hall or call 304-877-2407.
The town is also accepting donations of cleaning supplies, disposable and reusable gloves, large trash bags and other items that can assist with flood cleanup. Volunteers willing to provide a helping hand are also needed.
Donations may be dropped off at Pax Town Hall, located at 37 School St., Pax, WV 25904.
Town Hall is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 4 p.m. Friday. Those who need to make other arrangements are encouraged to call ahead.
The Town of Pax thanked the Canyon Rim Rotary Club for its donation as well as everyone who has assisted with the flood response and cleanup efforts.
