PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital (PCH) held a special signing ceremony today to officially welcome eight nursing students into its Aspiring Nurse Program.
The event, hosted in the hospital’s education classroom, was led by PCH President and CEO Karen Bowling and Vice President of Patient Experience Tim Anderson.
Through the Aspiring Nurse Program, PCH partners with local colleges and universities to invest in the future of nursing. Each participating student receives up to $25,000 in financial support to help cover tuition and living expenses during college. In return, they commit to working for three years at PCH after graduation.
This year’s students attend Bluefield State University, Concord University and Southwest Community College, and signed with PCH during today’s ceremony:
