OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Pinheads of New River Gorge is offering free food Monday to those impacted by recent flooding and those helping with cleanup efforts.
The business announced it will begin making pepperoni rolls and pizzas at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, and will continue until it runs out of ingredients.
Those affected by the flooding, along with volunteers and crews assisting with cleanup, are invited to stop by and pick up food at no charge.
“We’re firing up the ovens this morning to make pepperoni rolls and pizzas for anyone impacted by the flooding or helping in the cleanup efforts,” Pinheads of New River Gorge stated. “We’ll start at 11:00 and go until we run out of ingredients. Please stop by and grab what you need. No charge; let’s get as many people as we can taken care of.”
The business said people can also pick up food to take back to others working alongside them.
“We’ll keep making them so you can show up, grab what you need, and get back. Feel free to grab some to go for your whole crew,” the business stated.
The effort comes as communities across Fayette County continue cleanup and recovery following multiple rounds of heavy rain and flooding over the weekend.
