FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A portion of the West Virginia Turnpike is shut down as of late Tuesday night following a multi-vehicle crash.
According to West Virginia 511, the northbound lanes of the turnpike are shut down at mile marker 62 between the Mossy and Mahan exits in Fayette County.

Witnesses report multiple vehicles being involved in the crash.
Northbound traffic is currently being detoured onto U.S. 19 in Beckley.
There is currently no word on injuries or when the road will reopen.
