(LOOTPRESS) – No one claimed the $1.44 billion Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night’s drawing, pushing the prize to an estimated $1.7 billion — one of the largest in the game’s history.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69, and the Powerball 22.

While the grand prize went unclaimed, four tickets matched the first five numbers plus the Power Play, each worth $2 million. Another 11 players won $1 million with Match 5 tickets.
The jackpot has been growing since May 31, when the last Powerball winner was drawn. If claimed, the prize would be the second-largest in Powerball history, trailing only the $2.04 billion jackpot won in 2022.
Whoever wins Saturday’s drawing will face a choice between an annuity paid over 29 years, with payments increasing 5% annually, or a lump-sum cash payout estimated at $770.3 million before taxes.
The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday.
