Greenbrier West 14, Liberty 4
Charmco – Sophomores Brayden McClung and Ethan Holiday picked up two hits each, also driving in a run each as Greenbrier West beat Liberty 14-4 in five innings Tuesday in Charmco.
Dale Boone led the Cavs with two RBIs, pitching three scoreless innings as well.
Landon Hall led the Raiders with tow hits in the loss.
West improves to 1-0 and will travel to PikeView on Wednesday.
Bluefield 14, Westside 1
Bluefield – Ryker Brown and Hunter Harmon collected three hits each Tuesday as Bluefield defeated Westside 14-1 at Bowen Field.
Harmon picked up the win for the Beavers, striking out 10 and yielding just one hit to Steven Cook.
Harmon and Kerry Collins drove in three runs each fro the Beavers.
Bluefield improves to 3-0 and will travel to Oak Hill on Wednesday.
