Nicholas County 13, Shady Spring 3
Summersville – Nicholas County erupted, scoring in every inning of 13-3, five-inning win over Shady Spring in Summersville.
Garrett Kesterson and Ira Mylott collected three hits each while Cole Brown drove in a trio of runs.
Aiden Calvert drove in a pair of runs for Shady in the loss.
Independence 4, Oak Hill 2
Coal City – Independence rallied late, scoring four runs in the sixth inning to claim a 4-2 win over Oak Hill in Coal City Monday.
Micah Cuthbert and Blake Stratton collected a hit and an RBI each while Allen Coalson went the distance to secure his first career win.
Owen Grose notched a double and an RBI for the Red Devils in the loss.
Westside 13, Bluefield 10
Clear Fork – Westside put up 11 runs in the fourth inning, hanging on for a 13-10 win over Bluefield Monday in Clear Fork.
The win came despite seven errors from the Renegades.
Jaeden Lester collected two hits as did Alex Brunty in the win.
Davis Rockness collected tow hits for Bluefield while Anthony Buzzo drove in a trio of runs.
Liberty 14, Mount View 2 (5 innings)
Welch -Talan McGraw tallied three hits, two RBI and allowed just three hits along with no earned runs to lead Liberty past Mount View 14-2 in five innings.
Isaac Williams also collected three hits and two RBI, while Chase Shea had two hits and three RBI. Williams, Shea and Landon Hall each had a double.
