PikeView 3, Princeton 2
Bluefield – PikeView held off a late rally by Princeton to take a 3-2 win in a consolation game at the Coppinger Tournament at Bowen Field.
Nate Riffe for the Panthers went seven full innings, allowing only five hits and two runs, while striking out eight. Brody Combs was the tough-luck loser for the Tigers allowing only five hits and striking out 12 batters.
Jared Vestal had two hits and two RBI to lead PikeView, along with S Lyle who had an RBI for the Panthers. Drew Damewood also had a pair of hits for the victors.
Combs led the Princeton offense with two hits, including a double and an RBI.

Oak Hill 11, Wyoming East 6
Oak Hill – The Red Devils took a 4-0 lead and added five more in the fourth inning en route to an 11-6 win over Wyoming East Saturday.
Deuces were wild for Gabe Truman from Oak Hill. Truman had two hits, including a double, two RBI and scored two runs to pace the home squad.
Cole Legg also had two hits and an RBI for the Red Devils.
Miken Smythe had a double and three singles for the Warriors and drove in two runs. Bryson Hunt and Madden Atwood also had a pair of hits.

Tazewell (VA) 9, Beckley 3
Bluefield – The Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-0 lead and went on to beat the Flying Eagles 9-3 in the championship game of the Coppinger Tournament Saturday at Bowen Field.
Beckley was led by Maddex Simms with two RBI and Chase Tolliver with one, but could not overcome five errors in the contest.
Luke Childress and Walker Patterson had two hits each for Tazewell who won its second Coppinger title in a row.
Jackson Gambrell and Ty Evans were named to the All-Tournament team for Beckley.

Bluefield 13, Graham (VA) 10
Bluefield – Bluefield beat longtime rival Graham (VA) in a border war shootout Saturday, 13-10.
Hunter Harmon had a double, two singles and five RBI to lead the Beavers, while Caleb Fuller had a double and an RBI as a part of his three-hit day.
Bryson Redmond had a double and two RBI along with Garrett Hicks who had two hits and two runs batted in Saturday. Anthony Buzzo collected two hits as well.
Nate Phillips had a single, double and a triple to go along with four RBI to lead the G-men. Tristan Hass had two singles, a double and three RBI.
