Princeton – Summers County pounded out 16 hits to claim a 19-2 victory over Mercer Christian on the road Monday.
Six different Bobcats collected multiple hits with Jake Boone driving in four runs in the win.
Eli Patton collected two hits to lead Mercer Christian.
Wyoming East 16, Van 2
New Richmond – Wyoming East capitalized on nine free passes and six errors to down Van 16-2 Monday in New Richmond.
Owen Biggs drove in four runs to lead the Warriors in the win.
Miken Smyth fanned seven batters in three innings of work on the mound.
PikeView 16, Liberty 4
Glen Daniel – Freshman Landon Wyatt went the distance for PikeView Monday, delivering the Panthers a 16-4 win over Liberty in Glen Daniel.
The win was No. 200 for head coach Josh Wyatt, Landon’s father.
Drew Damewood and Jared Vestal led the charge at the plate for PikeView with three hits each. Damewood drove in four runs while Eli Hilling drove in three.
James Monroe 10, Greenbrier West 0
Charmco – James Monroe blanked Greenbrier West’s offense Monday evening, claiming a 10-0 win over the Cavaliers in Charmco in six innings.
Carson Koen pitched all five innings for the Mavs, limiting West to two hits.
Peyton Gardinier drove in four runs while Kadyn Hines collected two hits in the win.
Shady Spring 7, Princeton 5
Shady Spring scored 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth and Sam Barnett closed out the seventh to defeat Princeton 7-5 Monday.
Jake Meadows and Gavin Davis each had two hits and an RBI, while Carter Pack added a double and a single.
Mookie Cox, Brody Seabolt, Aide Calvert and Barnett all had one RBI in the win.
Brody Combs had two hits, including a double for Princeton and Kaden Davis collected two hits and an RBI. Deegan Walters also had an RBI for the Mercer County Tigers.
