Wyoming East 25, Westside 1
Clear Fork – A day after being no-hit by Princeton, Wyoming East took out its frustrations on county rival Westside, pounding 26 hits in a 25-1 win over the Renegades in Clear Fork.
Garrett Mitchell led the charge for East with five hits while Brady Biggs, Jacob Howard and Miken Smyth added four hits each in the win.
Mitchell picked up the win on the mound, while Smyth struck out five in relief.
Summers County 13, Liberty 7
Hinton – Trailing 6-2 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning, Summers County exploded for 11 runs over the next three innings to secure a 13-7 win against Liberty Tuesday in Hinton.
Colton Jones collected three hits and drove in three runs while Jake Boone collected a pair of RBI.
Colton Tolliver, Issac Williams and Zac Bowman notched two hits each for Liberty while Landon Hall drove in three runs.
