Calvary Baptist 52, West Logan Christian 46
Summersville – Calvary Baptist Academy won its fourth straight West Virginia Christian Athletic Tournament title Saturday beating West Logan Christian 52-46.
Stevie Hicks, who was named the Most Valuable Player for the three-day tournament, lit it up again for 25 points, while running mate Isaiah Bosley dropped in 17 points.
Nick Knox rounded out a solid tournament by scoring 16 points for West Logan. Jordan Adams and Bradley Preece added nine points apiece.
Hicks, Bosley, Knox and Adams were all named to the All-Tournament team. Joining them were Jo Swain (Calvary Baptist), Sam Boothe and Shaye Basham (Mercer Christian), Jon Dillon (Cross Lanes Christian), Josiah McKoy (Mount Hope Christian) and Micah Thomas (Victory Baptist).

WVCAT Boys 3rd-place Game
Mercer Christian 52, Cross Lanes Christian 46
Summersville – Mercer Christian built a 10-point halftime lead and held on to defeat Cross Lanes Christian in the 3rd-place game at the WVCAT.
Plying his final WVCAT game, Mercer Christian senior Sam Boothe went out in style scoring 23 points and hauling down 12 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers. Boothe hit five triples in eight attempts and had five deflections.
M.J. Patton added 14 points and Shaye Basham had five assists.
Jon Dillon led Cross Lanes Christian with 16 points.
Boothe, Basham and Dillon were all named to the All-Tournament Team.

WVCAT Boys 5th-place game
Mount Hope Christian 67, Victory Baptist Academy 64
Summersville – Mount Hope Christian rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat Victory Baptist 67-64 in the 5ht-place game at the WVCAT.
Mount Hope Christian drilled 12 long balls on the day with 10 coming in the second half.
Josiah McKoy knocked down seven 3-pointers and tallied 28 points to lead Mount Hope, while Nolan Carney made five from behind the arc and had 20 points.
Micah Thomas led Cross Lanes with 21 points. Ethan Hunt scores 17 points and Noah Childers added 12.
McKoy and Thomas were both named to the All-Tournament team.
