The Lootpress Player of the Week Award sponsored by Mid-State Ford, Little General and The Law Offices of Brandon Steele, has returned for a fourth year.
Below are the candidates for the last week of the boys basketball season. Voting will close Saturday, Friday, Jan. 31 at 11:59 P.M.
The fan vote will be used in the event of a tie. There are also changes to the Player of the Week voting pertaining to the top overall vote getter that you can read about here

- Ryan Mann, James Monroe – Mann scored 22 points in a key regional win at Bluefield.
- Britt Beasley, Princeton – Beasley averaged 25.5 ppg, scoring 30 in a win over PikeView.
- Eli Patton, Summit Christian – Patton netted 26 in a win over Bob Jones Academy.
- Bryson Bailey, PikeView – Bailey netted 24 points in a win over Liberty.
- Tristen Cline, Montcalm – Cline scored 24 points to lead Montcalm past River View.
- Konnor Fox, Wyoming Eats – Fox scored 12 points in a win over Mount View.
- Jalon Bailey, Shady Spring – Bailey netted 18 in a victory over Independence.
- Sylas Nelson, Independence – Nelson averaged 28 ppg, scoring 38 in a win over Lincoln.
- Zyon Hawthorne, Beckley – Hawthorne netted 20 points in a win over Oak Hill.
- Austin Bishop, Westside – Bishop scored 18 as the Renegades secured a win over James Monroe.
- Maverick Smith, Nicholas County – Smith scored 28 points in a win for Nicholas County.
- Drew Fitzwater, Greater Beckley – Fitzwater netted 20 points in a win over Teays Valley.
