Tuesday night at Woodrow Wilson High School Crescent rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat Ridgeview 58-53 and win the 2022 Raleigh County Elementary Basketball Championship title.
Micah Hamby led Crescent with 29 points on the night, while Zeek Nelson from Ridgeview led all scorers with 35 points.
Crescent made its way to the championship game Tuesday with wins over Daniels, Mabscott and St. Francis. Ridgeview beat Greater Beckley, Shady Spring and Hollywood before falling to the Chipmunks.
