Brenden Hoffman hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the defending Class AAAA state champions back to the state tournament with a 45-42 win Wednesday in Fairlea.
GW will be the No. 5 seed in the state tournament next week and will play No. 4 South Charleston in a rematch of the Class AAAA Region 3, Section 1 championship.
