Fairlea – The Spartans exploded for 31 points in the second quarter and rolled past the Beavers 81-54 Wednesday night inside Spartan gym.
Gabe Patton led East with 19 points and Kaiden Huffman scored 15. Adams Seams added 10 and Goose Gabbert scored nine.
Caleb Fuller had 22 for Bluefield and R.J. Hairston scored 16. Fuller also went over 1,000 career points in the loss.
