Sistersville – One night removed from beating Class A No. 2 Tucker County, No. 1 James Monroe pounded No. 9 Clay-Battelle 91-55 Saturday in the championship game of the Boggs Roundball Classic at Tyler Consolidated High School.
Collin Fox scored a game-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers to lead the Mavericks. Eli Allen scored 24 points going 10-for-11 from the line.
Owen Jackson added nine points and Josh Burks added eight for James Monroe (11-2) who travels to Summers County Tuesday.
Colby Barr paced the Cee Bees with 19 points and Kohlton St. Clair scored 14.

Fairlea – Class AAAA No. 4 Greenbrier East welcomed AAAA No. 6 Spring Mills Saturday looking to bounce back after a loss to Shady Spring Friday and hand out a little revenge.
The Spartans served up both by handing the Cardinals a 64-42 setback to move to 6-2 on the season.
Spring Mills topped the Spartans in early December in Martinsburg 69-63, but Saturday was all Spartans. The visitors led 6-3 before the Spartans scored nine straight and never looked back.
Goose Gabbert scored 17 to lead Greenbrier East, while Bryson Brammer added 13 and Adam Seams had 10 points.
Spring Mills did not have a player in double figures, but had four players score eight.
Greenbrier East travels to Oak Hill Tuesday for a key sectional showdown.
