James Monroe 93, Montcalm 34
Lindside – Class A No. 1 James Monroe placed four players in double figures to roll past Montcalm 93-34 Tuesday.
The win was the 100th career victory for James Monroe head coach Matt Sauvage who became the first head coach to reach that milestone in school history.
Eli Allen led the Mavericks with 28 points, while Josh Burks added 19. Owen Jackson scored 12 and Collin Fox had 11.
Kobie Neal led the Generals with 12 points.
James Monroe (6-0) plays Calvary Baptist Academy Dec. 28 in the Little General Battle for the Armory.
Montcalm (5-2) hosts Bath County, Va. Thursday at 1 p.m.
